With a comfortable home base and plenty to explore nearby, Footprints in the Sand makes it easy to do as much or as little as you like.
About the House
Just like the little seaside town of Hopetoun, Footprints in the Sand is made for slowing right down.
When you’re not exploring the nearby beaches, foreshore or town, settle in and make yourself at home. Enjoy a board game, curl up with a good book, put on a DVD, or simply switch off with the Wi-Fi and a quiet afternoon.
When you need supplies or feel like heading out for a bite to eat, Hopetoun’s town centre is close by, with an IGA, bakery, cafés and a local pub all within an easy stroll of the foreshore.
With four bedrooms sleeping up to eight guests, there’s plenty of room to settle in, spread out and enjoy a holiday at your own pace.
What to do in Hopetoun
Hopetoun is a laid-back seaside town surrounded by beautiful bays, white sand beaches and turquoise water. On a clear night, you might even spot the Milky Way.
Just outside town is Fitzgerald River National Park, perfect for exploring with wildflowers, mountains, walking trails and stunning coastal views. East Mount Barren is a favourite spot for sunset. At Barrens Beach , enjoy swimming, snorkelling and exploring the rock pools.
Between June and October, keep an eye out for southern right whales along the coast. Of course, you could always spend the day fishing, taking a scenic drive, or relaxing on one of the many nearby beaches.
